The Volunteer Services Council for San Angelo State Supported Living Center is the only non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to working with families, staff and the community to enrich the lives of the residents of San Angelo SSLC by providing fiscal and human resources beyond that which is provided by the state.
The VSC makes sure that the residents have fulfilling experiences by providing opportunities to learn and develop skills in the greenhouse, wood shop, the gym, the music program, or from a variety of other programs offered on campus. The VSC also provides extras for each resident such as holiday presents, birthday recognition, along with other experiences to make this facility feel like home. The VSC believes it is important for every resident to have a positive quality of life while living at the SASSLC.
